Kaela is the Senior Clinical Supervisor (PBS) and is a highly skilled, Advanced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner and Developmental Educator and has previously worked within the education system. Kaela has supported a wide range of individuals to provide specialist PBS services.

Some of Kaela’s interest areas include autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), intellectual disability (ID), complex trauma, borderline personality disorder (BPD), emotional regulation, social skills and relationships, sexual health and sexualised behaviours, executive functioning and self-esteem, and sensory and sleep interventions, and has lived experience as a neurodiverse female.

Kaela holds a Bachelor of Disability Studies and a Bachelor of Education (Middle Secondary/Special Education).

Kaela has engaged in a range of professional development opportunities (including mental health trainings) and has experience supervising core PBS practitioners.

Kaela is a positive, neuro-affirming individual that applies person-centred and holistic principals to ensure that those she works with have a voice and live the life they want to live. Increasing the quality of life of her participants and building meaningful therapeutic relationships is at the centre of everything she does.

Kaela loves anything Harry Potter, as well as reading, history, drinking coffee, and spending time with her Golden Retrievers Millie and Loki.
