Caleb Stanton-Thring:
Support Coordinator
Caleb has lived experience of disability due to a neurological condition that affects his lower limb muscles. This has helped him to develop a deep understanding and empathy with people who need to navigate the system. Caleb places a strong importance of self-sustainability and independence and what this can mean for different people.
Caleb’s area of interest is in physical disability and its impact on mental health and he is committed to expanding his knowledge to effectively support all forms of disability.
Caleb is currently studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science majoring in Counselling. His long-term goal is to continue supporting people living with disability to maintain independence and self-sustainability through a positive outlook.
Caleb’s hobbies include digital and pencil drawing to help express his creativity and imagination. He has also found a passion in DIY and furniture building as he loves to create with purpose and intention. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends through social events and gatherings such as BBQs and festivals, especially on a sunny day.
