Nicole began her career in the disability field as a support worker, assisting a diverse range of individuals with activities of daily living, community access, skill building, and employment pathways. Over the course of eight years in the sector, she developed a strong passion for early intervention and behaviour support, aiming to enhance the quality of life for people with disability.
She recently completed a Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education (Rehabilitation Counselling) at Flinders University, where her interest in Positive Behaviour Support continued to grow. Through her university placements, Nicole obtained certificates in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect and Safe Environments for Children and Young People to support her ongoing professional development. She also holds a Diploma in Business and has a background in family farming, having grown up 40km southeast of Mildura.
In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with friends and visiting family, expressing her creativity, playing Minecraft with her niece and nephew, and caring for her plant babies.
