What is Developmental Education?
Developmental Education is a capacity building approach that is tailored to individual needs and helps people to develop the skills, confidence and strategies they need to participate more effectively in everyday life.
Our Developmental Education support is designed to focus on:
– Building independence and everyday living skills.
– Developing social and communication skills.
– Strengthening confidence, self-advocacy, and decision-making.
– Supporting participation in home, community, education, and employment.
– Developing practical strategies to work towards individual NDIS goals.
– Identifying barriers, strengths and opportunities through various assessments.
– Working collaboratively with families, support teams, and other professionals.
