Amali is an experienced and compassionate healthcare professional with a strong medical background, including training in psychology, psychiatry, human behaviour, mental health disorders, counselling, communication, and clinical psychiatry placements. She is also completing a Master’s in Positive Behaviour Support, strengthening her expertise in trauma‑informed and behaviour‑focused practice.
In her dual role, Amali builds warm, person‑centred recovery relationships and supports people to identify goals, develop practical recovery plans, and build strengths, coping skills, and daily living capacity. She collaborates closely with clinical teams, community services, and informal supports to ensure coordinated care, safeguard wellbeing, and help participants engage confidently with the NDIS.
With her blend of medical knowledge, behavioural expertise, and coordination experience, Amali provides holistic, evidence‑based support that empowers people to live meaningful, connected lives with confidence.
Outside of work, Amali enjoys spending time with her family and going on adventurous outings.
