Kate has a background as a Therapy Assistant/Mentor, where she assisted people to achieve their personal goals and flourish. Due to her studies she has a strong interest in mental health and has a passion for removing mental health stigma and improving therapeutic interventions. Kate is keen to promote inclusivity and believes that every individual deserves access to support that enables them to live their best life. She is committed to ongoing learning to ensure she provides the best service possible to those she works with.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and utilises this knowledge to assist individuals to build independence and improve their quality of life.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time at the beach, travelling, and playing sports. She also loves going for walks with her dog, Luna, finding it a great way to unwind and stay active.

Qualifications & Background 

–   Keen awareness of Trauma-informed practice, with a Bachelor’s Degree (Psychology, Honours).
–   Registered NDIS PBS Practitioner.
–   Experienced Therapy Assistant / Mentor and supporting young adults transitioning to university.
–   Volunteers socially supporting older adults.
–   Holds all clearances to Work with Children and within the NDIS, Worker Clearances.
–   Kate is energetic and loves spending time outside and moving, and loves to work with teens and young adults.
–   Kate thrives assisting participants navigating mental health challenges to develop self-understanding and resilience.
